Meet Phoebe

"A soulful voice and captivating stage presence"

April rose is the on-stage persona of Kent based vocalist Phoebe, a 24 year old professional, freelance vocalist and vocal coach based in Kent, United Kingdom. Specialising in pop, soul, jazz, dance and country, With a passion for music and a love for connecting with audiences, she has grown her music career aplenty with various skills and experience from different avenues of the industry. In 2020 she graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music with First Class Honours in Music Performance.

Freelance Vocalist

Working as a dep musician, recording demos and performing as a backing vocalist.

Phoebe has worked with with artists such as DIASCIA (dark-pop), Naeve (blues) and Keturah Randall (musical theatre).

Studio33 Function Band

Phoebe is the front woman and manager of Studio33 Function Band. Vibrant performances and energetic vocals always give the crowd a night to remember.

Strings & Roses

With Studio33's guitarist, Josh Wenham, Phoebe established a guitar and vocal duo, Strings and Roses. The pair use this project as an outlet to perform some of their favourite tracks mixed in with their own twist on audience favourites.

Vocal Coaching

Phoebe works with multiple teaching agencies, including Vocademy and Andrew Parry Music, teaching a variety of students across Kent. She is eager to impart a passion for music as well as history, vocal techniques and performance expertise onto her students.

Musical Career (so far!)

Throughout her life, Phoebe has been involved in a variety of musical projects. Taking on roles of performing and management in some of the freshest acts in the South-East.
